Yamaha TDR titanium steering stem top nut bung
This is the final entry for the SP2/TDR head stem and steering head furniture, its a plug i’ve made to cover the top of the stem for the TDR/CRF head stem conversion. As the finished length of the new stem was hard to establish accurately without having the frame to fit it all in, i erred on the short side. This is one of those rare times when it will be easier to add metal on (by making the plug) rather than take metal off, if turns out too long then it will be a struggle to shorten it. Mechanically the length is enough to give full and robust support to the top yoke, but short enough not to protrude beyond it, i hope!

Aw thanks Pete! Awesome stuff. I know which set of Ti64 paddock stand bobbins are going to be chosen for the TDR250 project now. 🙂
