Titanium gear stick knobs for a car

I’ve been busy making some titanium gear stick knobs for cars. Although they are a simple turning job they were really tricky to make, i ended up having to make holders and mandrills to hold them whilst machining the top taper as there is nothing to hold onto once the first taper is cut. Some are M12x1.25 and some are M10x1.25 thread. My friend Dik did the polishing as a) he’s better at it than me and b) it was half a days job so it meant i could get on and finish some SP2 stuff for the same customer. In our juvenile minds we and half the street had quite a bit of fun combining the words ‘Dik’, ‘knob’ and ‘polish’ in various ways!
