Titanium Harley Davidson Sportster wheel spindles and bolts
Just finished a pair of wheel spindles, suspension bolts and disc bolts for a Harley Sportster. I must say, the front spindle is about the best i’ve ever made, its a peach! it drilled almost perfectly true which is most unusual, you invariably get a bit of wobble on it over long distances like this one. And the tollerences are all to within half a thou. Yummy.
The front spindle is modified, the original was longer and had a tommy bar hole through it, i’ve made this one flush with the fork leg and broached a 14mm A/F socket in the end.

363g lighter!

On the rear spindle I’ve modified the head. The original is just a big nut welded onto the shaft, nasty, so I’ve carved this one from solid.

476g lighter!
